The above-described dog is placed in the Guardian’s home at no purchase cost. Sac River GoldenDoodles & BerneDoodles LLC retains full legal ownership of the dog throughout the entire term of this Agreement. Guardian understands that this dog is part of Sac River GoldenDoodles & BerneDoodles LLC’s breeding program and agrees to comply with all breeding-related requirements. Full ownership will transfer to Guardian only after the dog has completed its breeding career and has been spayed or neutered at Breeder’s expense.

She will typically have 3–4 litters, as determined solely by Breeder.    •   Breeder reserves the exclusive right to determine timing of each breeding.    •   Breeder also reserves the right to retire the female at any time for health, safety, or program reasons.

He may be used for breeding at Breeder’s discretion for the duration of his breeding career.    •   There is no guaranteed or minimum number of breedings.    •   Breeder reserves sole discretion in determining frequency and duration of use.    •   Breeder may retire the male at any time for health, age, or program decisions.

•   Dog will be spayed or neutered at Breeder’s expense.    •   Full legal ownership will transfer to Guardian.    •   This Agreement will terminate.

Keep the dog as an indoor family companion.    •   Provide a securely fenced yard, invisible fence, or other approved containment system.    •   Never allow the dog to roam freely.    •   Maintain the dog on Royal Canin dog food during its breeding career.    •   Keep all vaccinations current at all times.    •   Provide routine veterinary care unrelated to breeding.    •   Maintain regular grooming and coat care.    •   Keep the dog at a healthy weight and proper physical condition.    •   Notify Breeder immediately of illness, injury, or (for females) signs of heat.

Guardian agrees to:    •   Administer monthly heartworm prevention as directed by their veterinarian.    •   Administer monthly flea and tick prevention. However:    •   If a female dog is in heat, actively being bred, or confirmed pregnant, oral flea and tick medications are strictly prohibited.    •   During heat cycles and pregnancy, the only approved flea and tick product permitted is Frontline Gold topical treatment, unless otherwise approved in writing by Breeder. Failure to comply with these requirements constitutes breach of contract.

Dog will not be spayed or neutered during the term of this Agreement.    •   Dog will not be bred to any dog other than one selected by Breeder.    •   Dog will not be sold, transferred, leased, or given away.    •   Unauthorized breeding constitutes immediate breach of contract.

Guardian agrees to maintain the dog’s coat in a clean, healthy, and well-groomed condition at all times. Because doodle coats are highly prone to matting, the coat must be regularly combed to the skin using an appropriate grooming comb so that the comb can pass freely from skin to tip without catching or matting.

The dog must be professionally groomed every 4–6 weeks to maintain proper coat condition. Guardian is responsible for ensuring the groomer is aware that nails must be trimmed, ears properly cleaned and plucked if necessary, and a sanitary trim performed as part of the regular grooming appointments.

Guardian understands that matting is unhealthy and uncomfortable for the dog and will not be allowed to occur. Proper coat maintenance, including regular combing and professional grooming, is required to ensure the coat remains free of mats.

Guardian also understands that Sac River GoldenDoodles & BerneDoodles LLC may periodically need to take updated photographs of the dog during their breeding years, and the dog must be maintained in a well-groomed condition suitable for photographs.

If Guardian fails to comply with any terms of this Agreement, Breeder reserves the right to reclaim the dog immediately without compensation.

Guardian agrees to surrender the dog upon written notice of breach.

Upon completion of breeding obligations:    •   Dog will be spayed or neutered at Breeder’s expense.    •   Full legal ownership will transfer to Guardian.    •   Guardian will then assume full permanent rights and responsibilities.
