Donut

Meet Donut

Donut is our stunning blue merle tri Ultra Bernedoodle and one of our upcoming moms here at Sac River Goldendoodles & Bernedoodles. Expected to mature around 60 pounds, Donut truly has the best of both worlds: an absolutely beautiful, unique coat paired with an exceptional temperament.

Donut is an Ultra Bernedoodle, meaning she has a higher percentage of Bernese Mountain Dog than a traditional Bernedoodle. Donut is approximately 60% Bernese Mountain Dog, giving her more of that beautiful Bernese influence in her build, appearance, and overall look while still having the wonderful qualities we love about Bernedoodles.

Her coat is one of the first things people notice about her. Donut has a gorgeous minimal merle pattern, giving her blue merle tri coloring a unique and eye-catching look. Minimal merle is a less common expression of the merle pattern, and hers is especially beautiful. She also has the cute, stocky structure we love in our Bernedoodles.

As beautiful as Donut is, her temperament is what makes us love her most. She is incredibly human-focused and has the sweetest way of looking right into you and almost melting into you. She genuinely wants to connect with her people and make them happy. She is happy-go-lucky, affectionate, playful, and easygoing, while also having a wonderfully calm nature and a great on-and-off switch.

Finding a dog with a beautiful coat is wonderful. Finding one with an outstanding temperament is even better. With Donut, we feel incredibly fortunate to have both. She is one of those dogs we find ourselves admiring every day, not simply because of what she looks like, but because of who she is.

Donut will continue completing her health and genetic testing over the coming months as part of our breeding program. Assuming she completes all of her testing and everything continues as planned, we anticipate her first Ultra Bernedoodle litter toward the end of 2027.

We are so excited to watch Donut continue to mature and look forward to what she may bring to our future Bernedoodle puppies. Our goal at Sac River Goldendoodles & Bernedoodles is always to prioritize health, temperament, structure, and well-rounded family companions, and Donut represents so much of what we hope to preserve in future generations.
