Solo is a chocolate merle Mini Bernedoodle with a temperament we value highly in our program. She is confident, intelligent, and extremely people-oriented. She loves to be close—if she could stay in your lap all day, she would. She has that classic Bernese “lean,” where she melts into you and just wants to be with her people. She’s playful when it’s time to be, but also settles easily and enjoys simply being near you.

Knox is owned by Vandenbark Doodles out of Colorado. His family describes him as a laid-back, confident Mini Bernedoodle who does exceptionally well with children and other dogs. He lives with three kids and has a naturally easygoing temperament. He’s affectionate, loves to snuggle, and brings a steady presence.

Olive, the daughter of our beautiful girl Indy, is a confident, happy-go-lucky Mini Bernedoodle with an incredible on-and-off switch. Kuma is one of those dogs who is simply easy to love. She has a phenomenal temperament and is easygoing, intuitive, human-focused, fun, and playful. She loves people, wants to please, and genuinely enjoys being part of whatever her family is doing. Her combination of an easygoing nature and playful personality makes her such an enjoyable dog to live with.

Theo is owned by Shining Star Doodles in Colorado and was carefully selected for this pairing because of the qualities he brings to the table. Theo is friendly, confident, highly trainable, human-focused, and has a wonderful moderate energy level. He has also consistently produced well-rounded puppies, including puppies that have gone on to therapy and service work.

Temperament-Focused Mini Goldendoodles

Temperament is one of the biggest reasons we are so excited about the Kuma × Theo Mini Goldendoodle litter.

With the qualities behind both parents, we believe this pairing has the potential to produce intelligent, affectionate, trainable, people-oriented puppies that can make wonderful family companions. Some puppies may also display qualities desirable in therapy dog or service dog prospects.

While no breeder can guarantee that an individual puppy will ultimately qualify for therapy or service work, we carefully consider parental temperament, health, structure, trainability, and disposition when planning our litters.

Our puppies also receive intentional early socialization and temperament evaluations as they grow. These evaluations help us learn more about each puppy as an individual and help guide families toward a puppy whose temperament may be a good fit for their family, lifestyle, and goals.

While we certainly love beautiful puppies, color is never our first priority. Health and temperament will always come first in our breeding program. Our goal is to produce beautiful Goldendoodles on the outside while placing even greater importance on what they bring to a family through their temperament, health, and connection with their people.

20–30 lb Mini Goldendoodles

One of the things we are especially excited about with Kuma and Theo is the opportunity to produce these wonderful qualities in a smaller 20–30 lb Mini Goldendoodle.

For families who love the intelligence, affection, trainability, and people-oriented nature of the Goldendoodle but are looking for a smaller companion, we think this pairing has so much potential.

We expect these puppies to mature at approximately 20–30 lbs as adults. Adult weight is always an estimate, and individual puppies can fall outside the expected range.

Potential Therapy & Service Dog Prospects

Both temperament and trainability matter tremendously when considering a puppy for future therapy or service work.

Because of the qualities we see in Kuma and Theo, we are particularly excited about the potential of this litter. Theo has produced puppies that have gone on to therapy and service work, while Kuma brings an incredibly intuitive, human-focused, eager-to-please temperament of her own.

Not every puppy in a litter will have the same temperament, and not every puppy will be suited for therapy or service work.
